Terms of use

What applies between you and Playsa when you have an account: trial sessions, queues, the listings and how you close the account.

Version 1.0, in effect from 15 September 2026

On this page

This is a translation for your information. The Swedish version applies.

1. The terms in short

  • The account is free. Playsa never charges parents.
  • You do not need an account to search. You need one to book a trial session, put your child in a queue and see the place in the queue.
  • You create the account when you book, with your email and a sign-in link. No password.
  • About the child we store first name and year of birth.
  • The activity, the place and the price are agreed between you and the organiser, not with Playsa.
  • You can delete the account whenever you want.

2. Who we are

Playsa AB, changing its name from Hodla AB, company registration number 559427-7252, Vimpelgatan 1, 211 14 Malmö. Email: hej@playsa.se.

The terms are an agreement between you and Playsa AB. They apply when you create or use an account.

3. What Playsa is

Playsa is a search site and an app where you find activities for children, book trial sessions and put your child in a queue. The activities are offered by clubs, municipal arts schools and private companies. We call them organisers.

Playsa is an intermediary. That means:

  • The organiser decides which activities exist, what they cost, who gets a place and which rules apply in the queue.
  • When you book a trial session or put your child in a queue, we send the booking to the organiser.
  • The agreement about the activity itself is between you and the organiser. The organiser's terms apply to that agreement.
  • At every activity we show who the organiser is and whether it is a club, a municipal arts school or a company.

4. The account

4.1 Who may have an account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You may only add children you are the guardian of. You confirm this when you add the child.
  • You can invite another adult, for example the other guardian or a grandparent. Only a guardian can invite. An adult who is not a guardian sees the family but cannot add children, book or invite others.
  • Children under 13 never have their own login.
  • Youth accounts for ages 13 to 17, linked to the guardian, come later and get their own terms.

4.2 How the account is created

  • You create the account in the booking flow.
  • You enter your email, the child's first name and the child's year of birth.
  • We send a sign-in link to your email. The link works once and for 15 minutes.
  • From phase 2 you can also sign in with BankID or a passkey.

4.3 Keep the account safe

  • Anyone with access to your email can sign in to your account. Protect your email.
  • Never forward a sign-in link.
  • In the account you see which devices are signed in. Sign out devices you do not recognise.
  • Contact us right away if you think someone else has used your account.

4.4 Correct information

The information must be correct. Update it in the account if something changes. The organiser needs the right year of birth to see that the child fits the group.

5. Trial sessions

  • You book a trial session with an organiser. The booking is complete when you have received a confirmation.
  • We send a reminder the day before and a question the day after: enrol, join the queue or decline.
  • Cancel in the app at least 12 hours before the session if your child cannot come. Then another child can take the place.
  • The organiser can cancel or move a session. Then we notify you.
  • The trial session is free unless the organiser says otherwise at the session.
  • The organiser is responsible for the activity, the leaders, the premises and the insurance. Ask the organiser whether the child is insured during the trial session.

6. Queues

  • You can put your child in the queue for a group. You see the place in the queue, for example "Place 4 of 12".
  • The queue is ordered by when you put your child in it, unless the organiser has priority rules. The priority rules are shown at the group before you put your child in the queue.
  • When a place becomes available you get an offer. You have 48 hours to answer unless the organiser has set another time. If you do not answer, the offer goes to the next in the queue.
  • Once per term we ask you to confirm that the child should stay in the queue. We remind you before. If you do not confirm within 14 days, the child is removed from the queue.
  • The place in the queue can change if the organiser applies a priority rule. Then you see the change and why.
  • You can ask the organiser to review a decision in the queue.
  • Playsa promises no place. The organiser decides who gets a place.
  • The organiser can remove a group or a queue. Then we notify you.

7. Information on the search site

  • The information about activities comes from the organisers or from public sources.
  • Information the organiser has not confirmed is marked "Not confirmed".
  • We show when a piece of information was last updated.
  • We do what we can to keep the information correct, but we cannot promise that everything is right. Check the price and times with the organiser before you decide.
  • See something wrong? Use "Report an error" at the activity.

8. Reviews and other things you write

When a term is over you may be able to write a review. What you write must follow the rules:

  • Write about your own experience.
  • Do not write children's names or anything else that points out a child.
  • No personal attacks, no threats and no illegal content.
  • No advertising.

We review reviews before they are published. We only publish reviews from accounts that took part in the activity.

We can remove content that breaks the rules or the law. Then you are told why and can ask us to reconsider the decision. Anyone can report content with the "Report" button.

9. Messages from Playsa

  • We send the messages the service needs: confirmations, reminders, queue offers and important changes. They cannot be switched off as long as you have bookings or are in a queue. You choose the channel in the account.
  • We send text messages only when it is urgent, for example a queue offer with a short time to answer, and only if you have entered a mobile number.
  • Newsletters and tips from Playsa are sent only if you have said yes. You can say no at any time.
  • We never send advertising to children.

10. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy at playsa.se/en/integritet. In short: we never sell data, we show no advertising and we do not profile children.

11. Money

  • The account is free. Playsa never charges parents.
  • When payment opens in the app (phase 2) you pay the organiser. The payment is handled by a payment service provider, planned to be Stripe. The organiser's price and terms apply. Playsa charges you no fee.
  • The right of withdrawal and refunds for an activity are between you and the organiser.

12. The service and changes to it

  • We want Playsa to always work, but we cannot promise that the service is never down.
  • We develop the service all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important we notify you in advance.

13. Liability

  • Playsa is responsible for the service working as we have described and for handling your data according to the law.
  • Playsa is not responsible for the organiser's activities, for example cancelled sessions, the leaders' conduct or injuries during the activity. That is the organiser's responsibility.
  • Playsa is not responsible for damage that arises because you handed out a sign-in link.
  • Nothing in the terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

14. Closing the account

  • You can delete the account whenever you want. Write to hej@playsa.se and we delete it within 30 days.
  • When you delete the account, the child is removed from all queues and upcoming trial sessions are cancelled. We warn you first.
  • Bookings already sent to an organiser remain with the organiser under the organiser's own rules.
  • We can suspend an account that is used against the terms or the law, for example to book in other children's names. We explain why, unless that would harm someone else.
  • An account that has not been used for 24 months is deleted 30 days after a reminder.
  • At the end of the year in which the child turns 18, we remove the child's profile from your account.

15. Changes to the terms

If we change the terms in a way that affects you, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not want to continue, you can delete the account. Minor changes, such as corrected spelling, are not announced.

16. Disputes and law

  • Swedish law applies.
  • Contact us first. We answer within two working days.
  • As a consumer you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se.
  • Otherwise disputes are settled by the ordinary courts.

The EU platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) closed on 20 July 2025.
