This is a translation for your information. The Swedish version applies.
Version 1.2. In effect from 3 December 2026. Version 1.0 was in effect from 15 September 2026. There is no version 1.1 of the terms for parents.
Changed in version 1.2: clubs can use Playsa as their club management system. New are the connection between your account and a club's register (point 4.5), enrolment with fees and the right of withdrawal (6 a), invitations and replies (6 b), attendance notices, the calendar and check-in (9 a to 9 c) and invoices from the organiser (11). Points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 17 have changed. The lines about BankID and about payment through Stripe have been removed, because those parts do not exist yet.
1. The terms in short
- The account is free. Playsa never charges parents.
- You do not need an account to search. You need one to book a trial session, put your child in a queue, see the place in the queue and enrol your child with a club.
- You create the account when you book or enrol, with your email and a code or a sign-in link. No password.
- About the child we store first name and year of birth.
- The activity, the place and the price are agreed between you and the organiser, not with Playsa. You pay the fee to the organiser.
- Your account is connected to a club's register only if you approve it.
- You choose yourself which notices you get about your child.
- You can delete the account whenever you want.
2. Who we are
Hodla AB, which is changing its name to Playsa AB, company registration number 559427-7252, Vimpelgatan 1, 211 14 Malmö. Email: hej@playsa.se. In the terms we call the company Playsa.
The terms are an agreement between you and Hodla AB. They apply when you create or use an account.
3. What Playsa is
Playsa is a search site where you find activities for children, book trial sessions, put your child in a queue and enrol your child. The activities are offered by clubs, municipal arts schools and private companies. We call them organisers.
Organisers can also use Playsa as a club management system: a member register, enrolment with fees and invoices, attendance with check-in, invitations and email to groups. The parts open one at a time, and each organiser chooses which ones it uses. The data the organiser has in the club management system is the organiser's, and Playsa handles it on the organiser's behalf.
Playsa is an intermediary. That means:
- The organiser decides which activities exist, what they cost, who gets a place and which rules apply in the queue and at enrolment.
- When you book a trial session, put your child in a queue or enrol your child, we send it to the organiser.
- The agreement about the activity itself is between you and the organiser. The organiser's terms apply to that agreement.
- At every activity we show who the organiser is and whether it is a club, a municipal arts school or a company.
4. The account
4.1 Who may have an account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may only add children you are the guardian of. You confirm this when you add the child.
- You can invite another adult, for example the other guardian or a grandparent. Only a guardian can invite. An adult who is not a guardian sees the family but cannot add children, book, enrol, connect a child to a club or invite others.
- Children under 13 never have their own login. A child under 18 cannot be connected to a club on their own.
- Youth accounts for ages 13 to 17, linked to the guardian, come later and get their own terms.
4.2 How the account is created
- You create the account in the booking flow, when you enrol your child or when you register interest with an organiser.
- You enter your email, the child's first name and the child's year of birth.
- We send a sign-in link and a six-digit code to your email. They work once and for 15 minutes.
4.3 Keep the account safe
- Anyone with access to your email can sign in to your account. Protect your email.
- Never forward a sign-in link.
- Under Account, Security you can sign out on all devices. Do it if you think someone else has access to your account.
- Contact us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Never share the address of your calendar (point 9 b). Anyone who has the address sees when and where the child will be.
4.4 Correct information
The information must be correct. Update it in the account if something changes. The organiser needs the right year of birth to see that the child fits the group. In an enrolment, the child's surname and date of birth must be correct.
4.5 The connection to a club's register
Applies when the organiser uses Playsa's register.
- An organiser that uses Playsa's register can invite you to connect your account to the organiser's register, with a code in an email. The code is valid for seven days. Nothing is connected without your approval.
- Only approve an invitation that concerns you and your own child, and choose the right child. If the year of birth does not match, the connection cannot be made.
- With the connection you see the organiser's data about you and the child, for example the child's group. You can also get notices and invitations and check in the child.
- If you change your email address or phone number in the account, you choose whether the change should be sent to the organiser. Other things in the organiser's register, for example names, are corrected by the organiser. Contact the organiser if something is wrong.
- You can remove the connection whenever you want under Account. The organiser can also remove it, for example when custody has changed.
- The connection to a child is removed when the child turns 18.
- How the data is handled is described in the privacy policy, section 4 a.
5. Trial sessions
- You book a trial session with an organiser. The booking is complete when you have received a confirmation.
- We send a reminder the day before and a question the day after: enrol, join the queue or decline.
- Cancel under My bookings on Home at least 12 hours before the session if your child cannot come. Then another child can take the place.
- The organiser can cancel or move a session. Then we notify you.
- The trial session is free unless the organiser says otherwise at the session.
- The organiser is responsible for the activity, the leaders, the premises and the insurance. Ask the organiser whether the child is insured during the trial session.
6. Queues
- You can put your child in the queue for a group. You see the place in the queue, for example "Place 4 of 12".
- The queue is ordered by when you put your child in it, unless the organiser has priority rules. The priority rules are shown at the group before you put your child in the queue.
- When a place becomes available you get an offer. You have 48 hours to answer unless the organiser has set another time. If you do not answer, the offer goes to the next in the queue.
- Once per term we ask you to confirm that the child should stay in the queue. We remind you before. If you do not confirm within 14 days, the child is removed from the queue.
- The place in the queue can change if the organiser applies a priority rule. Then you see the change and why.
- You can ask the organiser to review a decision in the queue.
- Playsa promises no place. The organiser decides who gets a place.
- The organiser can remove a group or a queue. Then we notify you.
- If the organiser takes enrolments on Playsa and you say yes to an offer, the enrolment is admitted and the place confirmed straight away. Point 6 a then applies.
- If there is no group that fits the child's age, you can register interest with an organiser that has taken over its page on Playsa. The organiser only sees numbers. If the organiser starts a group that fits, you get an invitation and put the child in the queue yourself, with the day you registered interest as the place in the queue. The interest is valid for one year. You can register interest in at most 5 activities with the same organiser and 20 in total.
6 a. Enrolment
Applies when the organiser takes enrolments on Playsa.
- You can enrol your child in an organiser's group and term on Playsa. Only a guardian can enrol.
- You choose the child's first session among the sessions in the next six weeks. The price is calculated on the sessions that remain, and you see each line of the price before you send. The price is locked when you send. If the organiser changes its rules afterwards, they only apply to new enrolments.
- You enter the child's surname and date of birth. The year of birth must be the same as in the account.
- The organiser can ask its own questions and ask for consents. Questions about health, allergies or diagnoses cannot be asked. Do not write about health in free text. If you say no to an optional consent, it does not affect the place.
- If the group is full, the child cannot be enrolled. If the group has a queue, you can put the child in the queue.
How enrolment works
- You send the enrolment. It goes to the organiser, and you get a receipt.
- The organiser admits the child, puts the enrolment on waiting or declines it. Waiting and declining come with a reason that you see. Waiting applies until the end of the term. After that the enrolment is declined, and you get a suggestion to put the child in the queue. If the organiser has chosen it, the child is admitted straight away when there is a place, first come first served within each priority class.
- If the child is admitted, you confirm the place within five days. We remind you after three days. If you do not confirm, the place goes to someone else.
- When you have confirmed, the child has the place, and the organiser adds the child to its register.
When the enrolment becomes binding
- Before the enrolment is admitted, you can withdraw it free of charge under Home.
- If the child is admitted, you can decline instead of confirming, free of charge.
- The enrolment becomes binding when you confirm the place.
Right of withdrawal
- The enrolment says this: "You have 14 days to withdraw from the day the enrolment is confirmed. You withdraw under Home or by writing to the club. If the term starts within that period and your child is to take part from the start, you agree that the service starts during the period; you then pay for the sessions held before you withdrew."
- If you withdraw after confirming, the organiser removes the child's place, and the fee is credited according to the right of withdrawal.
- The enrolment is an agreement between you and the organiser. The organiser is responsible to you for the right of withdrawal and for paying back.
Payer and fees
- The person who sends the enrolment is the payer. The organiser sees the payer's name and email.
- You pay the fee to the organiser, not to Playsa. The organiser sends an invoice from Playsa (point 11) or from its own system, or tells you in some other way how to pay. Playsa does not receive any payments, and the money never goes through Playsa.
- Playsa calculates the fee according to the organiser's rules, for example a sibling discount and a late start. If the calculation is wrong, Playsa corrects it, and the organiser corrects its invoice.
- Questions about the fee, the invoice and refunds go to the organiser.
6 b. Invitations and replies
Applies when the organiser sends invitations in Playsa.
- The organiser can invite the child to a match, a cup, a camp, an extra session or a session in the schedule. The invitation goes to the guardians who have connected their account to the organiser (point 4.5). It is shown under Home and comes by email.
- An ordinary session counts as yes. An invitation needs a reply.
- You reply yes, maybe or no in Playsa, by the reply date. The reply is stored when you are logged in.
- You can change the reply until the meeting time without explaining yourself. Both guardians can reply, and the latest reply applies. A no counts as reported absence.
- Maybe holds no place. From the alert limit, only yes or no can be given.
- If you reply no close to the meeting time, by default less than 24 hours before, the leaders get an alert. That is perfectly fine, they just need to know in time.
- The reply has no text field. If you want to explain something, contact the leaders or the organiser.
- The leaders see the child's name and the reply. Other parents only see how many have replied.
- The invitation and its message are the organiser's. Questions about the invitation go to the organiser.
7. Information on the search site
- The information about activities comes from the organisers or from public sources.
- Information the organiser has not confirmed is marked "Not confirmed".
- We show when a piece of information was last updated.
- We do what we can to keep the information correct, but we cannot promise that everything is right. Check the price and times with the organiser before you decide.
- See something wrong? Use "Report an error" at the activity.
8. Reviews and other things you write
When a term is over you may be able to write a review. What you write must follow the rules:
- Write about your own experience.
- Do not write children's names or anything else that points out a child.
- No personal attacks, no threats and no illegal content.
- No advertising.
We review reviews before they are published. We only publish reviews from accounts that took part in the activity.
We can remove content that breaks the rules or the law. Then you are told why and can ask us to reconsider the decision. Anyone can report content with the "Report" button.
9. Messages from Playsa
- We send the messages the service needs: confirmations, reminders, queue offers and important changes. They cannot be switched off as long as you have bookings or are in a queue.
- If you have sent an enrolment, you get a receipt and messages about it until it is settled.
- If the organiser uses Playsa, we also send the organiser's messages on the organiser's behalf: messages about cancelled sessions, invitations and reminders about them, invoices and reminders about them, and email to the group. Email from the organiser, invoices and messages about cancelled sessions cannot be switched off. You choose emails about new invitations and reminders for each child under Account.
- We do not send new invitations, reminders or email from the organiser between 21 and 07. They go at 07. Messages about cancelled sessions and attendance notices go straight away. You can switch off quiet hours under Account.
- Newsletters and tips from Playsa are sent only if you have said yes. You can say no at any time.
- We never send advertising to children.
9 a. Attendance notices
Applies when the organiser takes attendance in Playsa and you have connected your account.
- When the leader marks the child, you can get a presence notice. If the child is marked absent, you can get an absence notice 60 minutes after the session ended. If the leader corrects it afterwards, you get a correction.
- If another guardian checks the child in, you can get the presence notice. The person who checks in gets none.
- You choose for each child under Account. Under 16, the absence notice is on and the presence notice is off, unless you choose otherwise. From the year the child turns 16, both are off, unless you choose otherwise. Your own choice always applies.
- The notice has the child's first name, the group and the day.
- The notice is based on the leader's marking and on check-ins. No notice is sent for a child who has not been marked, for reported absence, for a cancelled session or when nobody took attendance. So if no notice comes, it does not mean that the child is there.
- The notices are sent by email. The organiser can switch off the notices for the whole club.
9 b. The calendar
Applies when you switch on the calendar under Account.
- Under Account you can get the child's booked trial sessions, the deadline for an offer and the child's sessions with organisers that take attendance in Playsa in your own calendar.
- The sessions are included only for children the organiser has connected to you, and not for children with protected personal data.
- The calendar has a secret address. Anyone who has the address sees the times and places without logging in, but never the child's name. Do not share it. If the address has got into the wrong hands, change it under Account. The old one stops working straight away.
- You choose the calendar service yourself, and the service's terms apply to what it stores.
9 c. Check-in
Applies when the organiser has switched on check-in for the child's group.
- If you have connected your account, you can check in your child when you arrive at the session. You scan the code at the leader's or on the group's poster and choose the child, from half an hour before the session until the session ends.
- Only check in children who are there. Do not pass on a picture of the code.
- The leaders' mark goes first. If something is wrong, tell the leaders, and they correct it. You cannot undo a check-in yourself.
- A child under 18 never checks themselves in.
- We store that you checked in and when, never where you are. More about this is in the privacy policy, section 4 e.
10. Personal data
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy at playsa.se/en/integritet. In short: we never sell data, we show no advertising and we do not profile children. If the organiser uses Playsa as its club management system, we handle the organiser's data on the organiser's behalf, and the organiser's privacy policy applies to it.
11. Money
- The account is free. Playsa never charges parents.
- You pay fees for an activity to the organiser. The money never goes to or through Playsa (point 6 a).
- If the organiser uses invoices in Playsa, you get the invoice by email, with an OCR number and the organiser's bankgiro number. You pay to the bankgiro, and the organiser marks the payment as paid. You get a receipt when it has been marked.
- If the invoice is not paid, you get at most two reminders from Playsa, without a fee. After that the organiser will be in touch.
- You see invoices where you are the payer under Account, Fees.
- The invoice is the organiser's. The organiser is responsible for the content of the invoice and for its accounting. Questions about an invoice go to the organiser.
- The right of withdrawal and refunds for an activity are between you and the organiser.
12. The service and changes to it
- We want Playsa to always work, but we cannot promise that the service is never down.
- We develop the service all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important we notify you in advance.
- The parts of the club management system open one at a time, and each organiser chooses which ones it uses.
13. Liability
- Playsa is responsible for the service working as we have described and for handling your data according to the law.
- Playsa is not responsible for the organiser's activities, for example cancelled sessions, the leaders' conduct or injuries during the activity. That is the organiser's responsibility.
- Playsa is not responsible for the organiser's register, enrolments, fees, invoices, attendance or invitations. That is the organiser's responsibility.
- The attendance notices are based on the leaders' marking and on check-ins and are a support. Playsa is not responsible for where the child is.
- Playsa is not responsible for damage that arises because you handed out a sign-in link.
- Nothing in the terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
14. Closing the account
- You can delete the account whenever you want. Write to hej@playsa.se and we delete it within 30 days.
- When you delete the account, the child is removed from all queues and upcoming trial sessions are cancelled. We warn you first.
- Bookings already sent to an organiser remain with the organiser under the organiser's own rules.
- When you delete the account, your connections to organisers' registers are removed, and you get no more notices. The organiser's data about you and the child remains with the organiser under the organiser's rules.
- Enrolments you have already sent and invoices where you are the payer remain with the organiser. A confirmed place and the fee for it are between you and the organiser.
- The calendar address stops working.
- We can suspend an account that is used against the terms or the law, for example to book in other children's names. We explain why, unless that would harm someone else.
- An account that has not been used for 24 months is deleted 30 days after a reminder.
- At the end of the year in which the child turns 18, we remove the child's profile from your account.
15. Changes to the terms
If we change the terms in a way that affects you, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not want to continue, you can delete the account. Minor changes, such as corrected spelling, are not announced.
16. Disputes and law
- Swedish law applies.
- Contact us first. We answer within two working days.
- As a consumer you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se.
- Otherwise disputes are settled by the ordinary courts.
The EU platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) closed on 20 July 2025.
