Template for consent to photos

For clubs that upload photos to Playsa: guidance and a consent form, to print or copy into your own form.

For the club

  • Use the form before you upload a photo to Playsa in which someone can be recognised. Print it, or copy the text into your own form. Replace the text in braces with your details.
  • Ask each child's guardians. If the child has two guardians, both must say yes. From 13, the child also says yes or no, and a no from the child always applies.
  • Each adult who can be recognised, for example a leader, gives their own yes in the last part of the form.
  • The consent is voluntary. The child may take part in the activities without a yes.
  • Never upload a photo in which a child with protected personal data can be seen. The form asks about this.
  • Choose photos where individual children are not in focus, if you can. Never show children in swimwear, underwear or changing rooms. Write no names in the alt text or the caption.
  • Keep the form for as long as a photo in which the person can be seen is on Playsa. If Playsa asks to see the consent, show it within five working days.
  • If someone withdraws their yes, remove the photo in the portal without delay.
  • A municipal arts school or another public authority does not upload photos in which children can be recognised until Playsa has said that it is possible.

{club name} wants to show photos from our activities on Playsa, a search site where families find activities for children. We are asking whether your child may be seen in the photos.

What you say yes to

  • We may upload photos in which the child can be seen, from training sessions and other things in the group below, during {term or season}.
  • The photos are shown publicly on playsa.se with the club's groups, together with the club's name and the groups' times and places. Anyone who visits the site can see them.
  • The photos are shown without names. Playsa removes all information in the file, for example where and when the photo was taken, and asks search engines not to show the photos when people search for images.
  • Playsa does not use the photos in its own marketing, does not pass them on to others, does not use them to train AI and uses no facial recognition.
  • We never show children in swimwear, underwear or changing rooms.

Who is responsible

  • {club name} is responsible for the photos and for your consent. Playsa, that is Hodla AB, which is changing its name to Playsa AB, stores and shows the photos on our behalf.
  • Your yes applies to both {club name} and Playsa.
  • How Playsa handles the photos is described in Playsa's privacy policy at playsa.se/en/integritet.

Who says yes

  • Children under 13: all the child's guardians say yes.
  • Children from 13 to 17: all the child's guardians and the child say yes.
  • If the child says no, now or later, the answer is no.

It is voluntary

  • The child may take part in the activities even if you say no.

How to withdraw your yes

  • Write to us at {club email} whenever you want. We then remove the photos in which the child can be seen and do not upload new ones. A photo we remove stops being shown within a minute, and Playsa deletes it. It remains in Playsa's backups for at most 30 days.
  • You can also press "This is my child" next to the photo on Playsa, without an account. Playsa reviews it by the next working day and hides the photo if a guardian has not said yes.
  • From 13, the child can withdraw a yes themselves.

How long we keep the form

  • We keep the form for as long as a photo in which the child can be seen is on Playsa. Playsa can ask us to show that the consent exists.

Protected personal data

  • If the child has protected personal data, for example protected population registration, write yes on the line below. We will then never upload photos in which the child can be seen, and you do not need to explain why.
